Terms of Service

By downloading or using TextCards, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use TextCards. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TextCards to create or send content that:
- Is unlawful, harassing, threatening, or harmful to others
- Constitutes spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempts to reverse-engineer or disrupt the app or its infrastructure
3. Your Content
You retain full ownership of any card messages you create. TextCards does not store your card content on its servers. Content sent via iMessage is governed by Apple's iMessage service, not by TextCards.
4. AI Features
TextCards uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate card message suggestions. AI-generated suggestions are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed to be accurate, appropriate, or complete. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending it to others.
5. In-App Purchases
TextCards may offer optional in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not handle payment information directly.
6. Disclaimers
TextCards is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the service, including AI-generated suggestions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shawn Carolan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
